does anyone know how to deploy
eyesweb blocks?

a) the sdk uses vc runtime dlls
b) they need some special installation ( manifests )
c) the whole sdk is based on these vc runtime dlls

so there is no way to deploy a block
without sending users vc redistributables?

Hi,

the safest solution is to deploy the vc redistributable together with your block. However, since your block will be deployed to a pc where Eyw has already been installed, a version of the vc redistributable will be already installed on that pc. Currently, we are using the runtime for visual studio 2005 with SP 1. Thus, you can assume that the corresponding redistributable is already installed on the target pc.
