Hi,

I'm trying to start developing using the tutorial information contained in the Document EywPlugins by Doxygen 1.5.8, July, 30 2009
When I try to create a new catalog through the New Project dialog window it says...
Quote:
Creating project 'SimpleCatalog'...project creation failed.

So I'm stuck here right at the beginning.

I'm using Visual Studio 2008 Professional and EyesWeb XMI SDK 5.0.3.0.

I'm pretty sure I got all of the EywWizard, EywBlockWizard, EywDatatypeWizard, .vsz, .vsdir, and .ico files placed in the proper folders and renamed as specified.

The EyesWeb User Catalog icon shows up in my Visual Studio New Project dialog

I tried to create the project using .NET Framework 2.0, 3.0, and 3.5.
I don't see any other options to try differently in the New Project dialog.

Any Suggestions? Thanks a lot.

Henry

I really need to use EyesWeb for my project, so I really want to get the SDK workng. Tell me if I should use a different version of EyesWeb or Visual Studio to solve my problem.

Maybe this is a problem...

I added the EyesWeb "include" and "lib" folders to the VC++ Directories, but I can't find any "bin" folder in my EyesWeb directory.
Is there a "bin" folder and do I need to add it to the VC++ Directory?

Also in the SimpleCatalog.txt it says this:
Quote:
* Please keep in mind that during the EyesWeb installation
* you have been asked for selecting additional tasks to be performed:
* one of these tasks is related to the ability
* to "Add a command to register/unregister \eyw{} modules to the Shell";

Nothing like this happened for me when I installed EyesWeb SDK.
Is that a problem?

Thanks
Henry

I'm using Visual Studio 2005. I don't whether Visual Studio 2008 will work with the distributed Sdk.
