Hi everyone,
i'm porting an Eyeswb 3 patch (made by others) to version 5, but i'm facing a problem:

i have 2 images (one static from the ImegeGenerator block, and another from a video(which also is rotated with the Rotation block)) with the same properties connected to a PictureInPicture block(using ImageMerge give me the same results): this block receives from random/signal generators the embeddig position for the video which also is rescaled here.
When i launch the patch it starts but after about 20 secs the program crashes but before i can see the following debug message:

Quote:
DBG> Ipp library returned an error.
DBG> Ipp library info: ippip8l.lib 6.0 Update 2 build 167.41 6.0.167.692.
DBG> Ipp error description: "ippStsSizeErr: Wrong value of data size".

What's the problem?

thank you in advance

edit: i don't rescale
edit: after i had post this message, sometimes the error doesn't appear , but i haven't modified anything

hum i've found out something...
the error is generated while passing the embedding position to the PIP block.
ok, now PIP requires ROI 2D double data type as parameter for position:
so i put a point 2D generator connected to a PointToROI block. The first one passes point coordinates rescaled in the range [0,1] while in the second i set the size of the ROI (size X, size Y) with real values (like 0.5 or 0.8...)

what kind of error do i commit?

uhm version 5.1.0 fixes the problem by permitting users to select the type of the roi (middle,top,bottom...)

that's not a fair solution but it 's ok for me...
