Hello,
I have installed EyesWeb in my PC: DELL Studio XPS 8100 i7 Processor 860 (2.8 Ghz) Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit 8 GByte RAM Nvidia GeForce GTS 240 1 GByte
I have some problems with the installation.
Problem 1: I could not register SEC.dll. Error message at registering SARC SEC.dll:
Registering "C:/Program Files (x86)/Eyesweb 5.1.0/SEC.dll" in "C:/Program Files (x86)/Eyesweb 5.1.0" ... failed! unable to open file: "C:\Program Files (x86)Eyesweb 5.1.0\Catalogs\SEC_c_c.eywc" Failed to load module C:/Program Files (x86)/Eyesweb 5.1.0/SEC.dll as it violates the specifications of the Catalog Factory interfaces. *** 0 File(s) Processed
Problem 2: I could not register FreeFrame Moduls. I have no error-message but I have no FreeFrame-Blocks in the EyesWeb catalog.
Problem 3: The same patch needs almost the same power (Window Task Manager= 80-90%) in two pcs independent from hardware (2 or 4 cores)/software (Windows XP or System 7 with 64 Bit).
Would you be kind enough to help me?

1) are you sure the SEC.dll is for Eyw 5.1.0? If yes, try to assign the "Run as administrator" to the EywRegisterModule.exe executable.

The problem was with program-subversion of EyesWeb 5.1.0. I have used some nigthly-trunk versions, but those have always SEC and FreeFrame installation-problem with Windows 7 . (with Windows XP no problem) Now I use the EyesWeb 5.1.0 Rev. 4229 and ALL WORKING!!! Unfortunately this version has not any new blocks, e.g. WiiMote block.
