Hi all, I finally booted up my PC to give eyesweb a try and am really quite excited. Fantastic tools, and I already have a patch processing baricenter, bounding rectangles, centroids, even some LukasKanade processing. My problem is getting this information out of eyesweb into max (on a mac) where I'll be controlling animations and doing some particle generation. The connection isn't a problem. I have both the OSC and UDP object sending data from a simple number generator in eyesweb, but haven't been able to figure out how to convert the "point 2D double" data, for example, into a format I can then pass along via OSC or UDP. I'm sure I'm staring right at it. Suggestions? Much thanks, David |

The Point2D datatype is not directly supported by OSC. Use the Geometric.Operations.GetPoint2DCoordinates block to extrac two separate coordinates (x, y) which can be sent via OSC. Paolo |
