Hello everyone,
I am totally new to all of this but very interested in using the EyesWeb Open Platform, but I am having trouble downloading or installing it.

All of the links I have found to versions 3 and 4 seem to be broken and I'm a bit confused about the version 5. I was able to download the < EyesWeb_XMI_gesture_processing_setup_5.0.3.0.exe > file but it is only 1.09 MB. Version 4.5 said it was 70 MB.

The website says:

The EyesWeb Open Platform is composed by a kernel and a collection of libraries. Both the kernel and the libraries can be downloaded for free from this website.

I downloaded the two libraries ( EyesWeb Gesture Processing Library & The EyesWeb MATLAB Library) but I can't find the kernel anywhere.

When I try to install < EyesWeb_XMI_gesture_processing_setup_5.0.3.0.exe > I get this error:

unable to execute file:
C:\Program Files\EyesWeb\EywRegisterModule.exe

CreateProcess failed; code 2.
The system cannot find the file specified.

Is this because I don't have the kernel install? But where can I get it?

I haven't install the MatLab library yet because I don't have MatLab. Is this necessary or just extra functionality?

I downloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86) that I saw helped someone else's install problem, but it didn't help.
Is there anything else I need to install? DirectX, OpenGL?

Sorry for my naivety, but I have been searching for hours for a few days and I can't figure it out, and I would really like to use it, for a project I am working on. Please tell me what to do or point me in the right direction.
Thank You

The main setup can be downloaded from this page: ... nload.html

At the license agreement you'll find the link:
Download EyesWeb XMI Platform - Version
which will start the download.
