Hello all,

I wanted to try freeframe plugins in 5.02 but couldn't figure out how to load them. There's some information about freeframe plugins in the wiki, but for previous versions only. Native support was announced as new feature, so I think there must be a way...

cheers,
Martin

I can answer it now on my own - the usual way here? (-;

The plugins I tried before seemed incompatible and didn't show up. I created a folder \MyInstallpath\EyesWeb\FreeFramePlugins and then I found contained plugins which were compatible in 'Free Frame Catalog.' in Catalog View.

Are you using Vista or XP? Under Vista I noticed that some Freeframe plugins did not appear if User Access Control was enebled. Disabling it fixed the issue.

To use free frame 1.0 plugins into eyeseb XMI please follow these steps :
    1. Make a directory named "FreeFramePlugins" into the eyesweb program directory ( C:\Program Files\EyesWeb XMI\ ) ;
    2. Copy the Free frames plugin dll's into this directory ;
    3. The next time you start the eyesweb GUI all the plugins found into this directory are placed into the Imaging>FreeFramePlugins block tree.

We are working to support the 1.5 specification.
Alessandro.
