-------------------------------------------------------
hi,

I would like to use two PCs with EyesWeb via internet.
PC1 gets data from Kinect and sends to PC2 via internet.
My EyesWeb patch (EywReceive/EywSend) with two PCs works well via LAN. I can send and receive.
How can I realize the same via internet?
Can I use "port forwarding" for my DSL-router?
For instance: my public IP address: 211.251.118.206
TCP Ports: 3074
UDP Ports: 3074

Please can you help me?

Thanks
Gyoergy

Hi,

it depends on the router, but yes, port forwarding is what you should use.

Are you having issues with it?
Are you just sending the skeleton data, or also blob or depthmap?

I'd expect that using TCP, and having enough bandwidth, the behavior of the patches should be similar (with more latency in the Internet case of course).
