Hi guys

Do you know how can I save any incoming signal (video or audio) in fragments?

I do not want to have a single file with recordings but let say multiple files,
each one with a recordings from 1 hour.

Thank you in advance for your help

Thank you very much for the info.

I did not understand very well from where can I take the patch?

From EYESWEB program or from this forum?

I searched for the file name given by you and I could not find it.

Thank you again for your quick response.

Regards

Ops, you are right! The patch I was referring to, and the related blocks, are not distributed yet.
I'll add them soon to the distribution.

In the meanwhile, if you are using version 5.2.1, you can proceed as it follows:

Dear Paolo

Thank you for your help.

Sorry for my late reply I am still trying to make it work.

From my understanding the upper path with clock is only to generate the name of the file.
Where it is decided the length of the fragmented video or audio file?
Is it in the filewrite block (where can I choose the length of segments to be recorded)?

I have other errors with EYESWEB 5.2.1 (mainly adding a web cam) but I hope to manage them.

Thank you in advance for your reply.

Best regards

Constantin
