hello forum,
I've seen the ImageSplit block, but I'm not able to figure out how to compare the two resulting images, to determinate which one has more white pixels than the other. I will explain:
- first, I will get an image, using a webcam and background simulation; - second, I will apply a threshold filter, getting a black-and-white image; - now, I need to now if the right half has more white than the left half.
I also gave a look at ImageToMatrix block, and the operations with matrix, but I couldn't find how to add all the members of a matrix. Using the result of this sum, I could easly determinate with half has more white pixels, I think.
thank you, andrei

In Eyesweb 3, you could convert the images to matrices and then use the Matrix>Binary Op>Logical block to determine which is whiter.
You could use 'deprecated blocks' to achieve this in the new version but I am sure there is a better way which I am unaware of.
If you have only pure black and pure white in your images maybe you could use the histogram actor and compare the relevant matrix indices?
